Before I  start off the facts, I just want  to take a minute and tell you how plants help us. I want to start off saying that you probably don't know how they help. They are living things that  give us oxygen to live and we give them carbon dioxide to live. So when you breathe you are helping a plant.

Okay know it's time to list the characteristics of the plants. Well, I could state the obvious (there green)or I the characteristic that you don't know like

  • ALL seed plants have 2 tissue called phloem and xylem.
  • ALL plants need carbon dioxide to live.
  •  ALL plants have vascular tissue.
  • SEED PLANTS use seeds to reproduce.
  • ALL annual plants grow, reproduce, and die in one year.

Next, I am going to talk about the main characteristics of Gymnosperms and Angiosperms. Well, first you need to know what Gymnosperms and Angiosperms are.

An Angiosperms -  a plant having its seeds enclosed in a small egg.

A Gymnosperm  - a vascular plant having seeds that are not enclosed in a small egg.

Okay, know you know what they are lets go into the main characteristics they have in common.

                                 Some of the characteristics are:

  • They both give pollen for fertilization.
  • The small egg of the angiosperms and the gymnosperms are created into seeds.
  • They both reproduce by seeds.
  • They both have vascular tissue.

                                           MONOCOTS and DICOTS

  • Monocots have only a one seed leaf inside the seed coat , dicots have two
  • Leaves on a dicot comes in different shapes and sizes, monocots are long and narrow .

  2. Hey taylor(: Good job!! :D ok, well maybe some grammer mistakes here and there.. like know instead of now... or there instead of their. Ya know, those simple mistakes. It was a little short, and some areas of which u were talking about were stronger then other areas. Some things you talked about that you didn't really need to, but it was good you talked about it, just to tell. But if your gonna say extra facts, you need to make sure you have enough facts about what you actually need to talk about(: You had good pictures to explain what you were talking about. You don't have to label your pictures anymore, because right-click the picture, and it takes you to the website you got it from. Your doing way better at personality by the way, which is good. But remember to put better amounts of information for the the things that you were assigned to talk about, even though its always good to put extra, but remember to focus on what is really important. Other then those things, good job! Your getting better taylor(: I'm gonna give you a 3 or 3 1/2 :D

  4. Hiya Taylor!! Your blog was full of personality!!!!!! One thing you didn't do was......you didn't give credit to where you got your information from! You need to do that because it's very important that you do that............plus that's a requirement for your blog! This was your last blog so you need to make an AMAZING appearance for your viewers!! Another thing I saw was that you had some grammar and spelling issues.............but everyone makes mistakes, so don't worry too much.......that's just life! And.......maybe you needed to talk about each topic a little bit more!!! Like I said you had LOTS of personality! But you are much better than in the beginning in the year...............all of us are...........well except a few :) 3 stars or perhaps 3.5!!! Take your pick.........so that must mean you want a 3.5 so I give you a 3.5!!! Good Job!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! :D :D :D :D :D :D :D

  5. Taylor, this was one of your best post. However, you should have given examples and the importance of Gymnosperms and Angiosperms plants. Also, watch your formatting, you have huge spaces between sections of your post.

    3 Stars ***
